Are we really doing this?

Yes, we're doing it!

Clayvision Warehouse Sale
1854 W. 169th Street
Gardena, CA 90247

December 12th & 13th, 8am - 2pm

Come finish up your Holiday shopping!

Normally, Stephanie has a craft show (in Gardena at the Elks Lodge) on this weekend, but she isn't having it this year.  So, we decided to have a sale at our warehouse and see what happens...  Our little warehouse is 1 minute away from the Gardena Elks Lodge.

In addition to our newer products like mouse pads and ornaments, we will be putting most of our other items on sale and will have many exclusive items that we don't bring to the shows.  Also, we found a couple boxes of Cynthia's old clay miniatures that she had made over 15 years ago.  Those will be available for purchase at this show too.

Not sure how many people (if any) will show up, but we'll be there both Saturday and Sunday.  We'll open early (8am), so you can come before all your commitments on that weekend.  Come finish up your shopping, see our little warehouse, start next year's shopping...

Hope to see you there!

Spring Show Season 2013

Hope everyone is doing well in 2013.  It's time for the Spring Show Season, albeit a very short season.  We have a total of 4 Spring shows: Nisei Week Luau (this Saturday), Krafty Delites (this Sunday), So-Phis Fashion Show (next Saturday), and A Time for Sharing (May 5th).

We are blowing out our old inventory.  Look for $5.00 ornaments, $5.00 Swarovski Bracelets, $3 Mirrors, $5 Big Frames, and more.  Almost everything will be on sale.  (And you know how much stuff we bring.)

In case you forgot how fast time flies, here is a reminder.  Cam is almost 4 and a half now.  (When did this happen)  Kindergarten is coming fast!  (Although his birthday is late in the year, so he gets an extra year of Pre-K)

Happy Black Friday or Thanksgiving!

What will you be doing on Black Friday?  Are you already in line at Best Buy?  Because if you're not, you're already too late.  (I've seen them out there already!)  Clayvision will be running free shipping on all orders over $5.00.  (I know, why $5.00?  It eliminates the one charm orders that take up the same amount of time as 10 charm orders.)  We have our premade 5 charm bracelets and oval key chains on special.  (http://www.clayvision.com/specials.htm)  Order at your leisure this weekend.

Looks like we will be having our usual Thanksgiving spread. (Turkey with stuffing and rice stuffing... Mmm!) Cam (and his allergies) will be able to enjoy the turkey, although he is usually too busy playing with the cousins to stop and eat.

We wish everyone a happy and safe Thanksgiving weekend!

November 8th - No Shows & Angry Star Wars?

We have a short break this weekend with no shows.  (that ends a run of 9 straight weekends of shows)  Just a reminder that we have only 5 shows left.  4 in SoCal (Koi, Beary, Krafty, and A Time for Sharing) and 1 in Seattle.  We have almost all of our old ornaments on sale, along with some of our older products.  We have new mirrors ($4.50 ea), new mini notepad gift packs ($6.50 ea), and new 4 x 6 frames ($8.50 ea)  If you need something in particular or have any questions, please feel free to send us an email, clayvision@yahoo.com.

Tomorrow, (or today) is the release day of Star Wars Angry Birds.  The only reason I know this is because all the kids (and 40 year old male nerds, like myself) seem to have this day circled on their calendars.   I hope you pre-bought all the toys that are coming out, because they are surely going to run out by Christmas.  (you know that those toy nerds, like myself, are going to buy it all and put it away)  My son has forgotten about Angry Birds and suddenly gotten into Legos (like myself).  So, instead of me having to buy him a $2.00 app, I have to buy him a $50 Lego set for his birthday... but that's better for him, right?

Surprise! A Blog Update

Well, it's been a busy couple of months with all the travel shows.  Only one out of town show left next weekend in Saratoga/San Jose, Crafty Foxes.  This weekend we have the SE Japanese School Holiday Boutique in Norwalk which features a pancake/portuguese sausage breakfast.  Looking forward to that, but not looking forward to the 8am start of the craft show.  (We have to leave home at 5:30am?  With Cameron?)

At the shows, we will bringing our new frames ($8.50), new mirrors (only $4.50!), new iphone/android/smart phone charms ($5.00), and a van load of sale merchandise.  We've marked down a lot of our old inventory trying to make room in our house.  Most ornaments are 50% off, along with many giftpacks.  (So please, come to the shows and buy it all so I don't have to load it all back into the van.)

No Shows This Month?

We don't have any shows this month?  Really?  I guess it's a little break before the crazy Winter season.  We will be gearing up for our first show on September 8th. (Midori Kai)  Look for new frames (4 x 6), new mirrors (similar to those we had 7 years ago, but with new colors and designs), and a lot of sale ornaments.  On the website, we will have free regular shipping for the month of August.

The start of the Winter season always signals that the Disneyland 1/2 Marathon is approaching.  We've started our training for that run on Labor Day weekend.  (Not so easy now that we have Cameron)  If Disney didn't give us extra stuff for being legacy runners, we would've quit by now.  (Although, a lanyard isn't exactly something to show off.)

Cars Land & the West Covina Obon

So, we visited Disney's California's Adventure and got to see the new Cars Land.  It is pretty awesome as you get to walk down (an extremely crowded) Radiator Springs.  (It really feels like you're in the movie)  I think the wait to ride the main ride was 4-5 hours, so we passed.  We did take Cameron on Tow Mater's Junkyard Jamboree and he loved it!  (We loved the new Ghiradelli's Ice Cream Shop by the Wharf area!)  Cam hit the magic height of 40 inches, so he can now ride almost anything at Disneyland.  (his head barely scrapes the bottom of the measuring stick.)  He got to ride Soarin' and really enjoyed it.

This Saturday is the West Covina Obon.  (1pm-6pm)  They feature good food, good produce, good performances, and dancing when the sun goes down.  Unfortunately, Clayvision won't be there this year.  (No, we're not going to be at Disneyland...)
